Two miles south of Salado, is an event center that is the perfect spot for a picturesque, country wedding. The property has a collection of quaint cottages and guesthouses for the couple’s family and friends to stay. It’s called the Yellow House Bed and Breakfast, and innkeepers, Sara and James Sharp have created a place for couples to get the personal attention they deserve on their wedding day.

Sara has a degree in culinary arts and James has a degree in hotel management. At the Yellow House, guests not only get a beautiful place to tie the knot, but they also get the knowledge of seasoned professionals who will make sure they have the wedding of their dreams.

The six-acre property can be rented from Friday until Sunday for an all-inclusive rate. This rate includes the use of the event center, guest rooms that will accommodate up to 34 people, breakfast every morning and unlimited access to the venue all weekend.

The Yellow House has 1000 square feet of indoor event space, along with six acres of additional land that can be used for a variety of outdoor wedding options. The outdoor areas are perfect for a beautiful wedding under the stars, or a tented outdoor wedding.

When couples book their wedding at the Yellow House, they can expect personalized attention from the owners, who live on the property. Sara and James will also share their knowledge of Salado for out-of-town guests, so they get the most of out of their experience.
