Anneliese + Zachary

Love stories can unfold in the most unexpected places and in the most unusual circumstances. Anneliese and Zach's love story began in a virtual chemistry classroom and led them on a journey of romance that ultimately culminated in a beautiful woodland-themed wedding. Let’s now explore their heartwarming love story, their unforgettable proposal, and the unique elements that made their wedding day truly special.

When, Where, and How They Met

Anneliese and Zach's love story started over the summer of 2020 when they were both enrolled in an online Chemistry Class at Texas A&M. Anneliese was struggling with the coursework and had questions that needed answers. Luckily, Zach was there to lend a helping hand. He was the only one who responded to her queries and offered her the support she needed. It was through these interactions that a connection began to form.

When the fall semester rolled around, their online interactions transitioned to real-life encounters as classes resumed on campus. Meeting face-to-face allowed their connection to flourish, and it wasn't long before they realized that they had something special together. Love blossomed between Anneliese and Zach, and they embarked on a journey that would eventually lead to their wedding day.

Unforgettable Proposal

Zach knew that he wanted to make his proposal to Anneliese truly memorable. He took her on a romantic trip to Big Bend, a place known for its stunning natural beauty. On the day of the proposal, they embarked on the Lost Mines trail, which offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

When they reached the summit, with Anneliese admiring the awe-inspiring scenery, Zach seized the moment. He got down on one knee and asked Anneliese to be his forever. Overwhelmed with emotion, she said yes, and their journey to marriage officially began. The proposal perfectly set the tone for their love story, which is deeply rooted in their appreciation for the beauty of nature.

The Wedding Theme and Design

Anneliese and Zach's shared love for nature played a significant role in the theme and design of their wedding. They chose the perfect venue, an arboretum, to celebrate their special day. The decision was a natural one for a couple who wanted to immerse themselves in the beauty of the outdoors.

The woodland-themed decor that enveloped the venue reflected their love for nature, with elements like rustic wood, greenery, and earthy tones creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail was carefully chosen to bring the natural world into their celebration, making it a true reflection of who they are as a couple.

What Made Their Wedding Unique

What made Anneliese and Zach's wedding truly unique was their unwavering commitment to incorporating their faith into the ceremony. They centered their special day around God, making the ceremony the focal point. Prayers were offered, and a heartfelt letter to their guests explained the importance of their beliefs in their relationship. This personal touch added a deeper layer of meaning to their wedding, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

Choosing the Perfect Venue and Vendors

When it came to selecting the venue and vendors for their wedding, Anneliese and Zach had a straightforward approach: they opted for the best options at the best prices. Their decision to choose the arboretum as their venue was a no-brainer due to their love for nature, and they worked with vendors who could help bring their woodland-themed vision to life.

Anneliese and Zach's love story serves as a reminder that love can blossom in unexpected places and under unique circumstances. Their journey from an online chemistry class to the stunning summit of a trail in Big Bend led them to a beautiful woodland-themed wedding, filled with love, faith, and the beauty of nature.
