Ashton + Kreece

Ashton and Kreece first met each other in a British Literature class at the University Mary Hardin-Baylor. Although the future bride disputes the claim, Kreece claims that Ashton kept inching closer to him during their class. Soon, the two became friends, and by the end of the semester their friendship had blossomed into love.

Kreece proposed two years after they became officially boyfriend and girlfriend on what Ashton thought was an ordinary Saturday. After asking his soon-to-be-fiancée about what she imagined for her future, Kreece pulled out a ring and proposed to Ashton.

The two married in July, surrounded by more than 200 of their friends and family. Soft-colored roses and blossoming hydrangeas dotted the white ceremony chairs, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The couple celebrated with two cakes, one for Kreece that was in the shape of a Yeti cooler, and one for the bride that included all of her favorite flavors and a monogrammed topper.

The bride and groom danced the night away after a dinner of chicken, pork tenderloin, and triple baked mashed potatoes, followed by drinks at the open bar. Guests then saw the couple off as they headed to their honeymoon in Maui.
