When Makenzy and DJ met as children, they didn’t know that they would be spending the rest of their lives together. But as they grew older, their friendship blossomed into a romance. They began dating when they were 19 and 20-years-old and became engaged seven years later at a family get together when DJ took the mic and said the proposal was “a long time coming.” The two will become husband and wife at a classy country wedding this summer at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Hewitt, TX.
