Brooke and Colby met by chance at a friend’s house, and what seemed at first to be a casual encounter turned out to be fate! Seven years later, they were saying “I do” in front of their loved ones – and their precious baby boy!
The proposal was a great indicator of how sweet their wedding day would be. Colby planned everything to a tee and hired both a photographer and videographer to capture the moment outside of Brooke’s family home. Harley, the couple’s heeler, assisted him in popping the question wearing a bandana bearing the words “will you be my forever mom?” Brooke, of course, said YES, and the planning began!
Brooke says Deerfield Estates was quickly chosen as the venue due to both it’s beauty and its reasonable rate. The couple loved how the gorgeous space allowed them to keep things simple – centerpieces, flowers, and table linens were the only things needed to bring their vision to life! Being the Dallas Cowboys fan that she is, Brooke naturally gravitated toward navy blue as the primary wedding color. Blush pink and champagne accents added a feminine, sparkly element to the scheme.
On the big day, both bride and groom stunned a dress and tux from Joann’s Bridal. The bride’s v-neck gown, embroidered with delicate lace detail, went beautifully with the groom’s light grey suit and navy tie. A deliciously catered chicken dinner (complete with green beans and fluffy rolls) by George’s Bar and Grill left every guest feeling full and happy. The cake, by All Sugard Up, was a beautiful white cake with a dazzling flash of gold. The entire beautiful night was captured perfectly by Loved Memories Photography.
