Just 37 years after Texas became a state, the Wolfe family was already serving the Waco community with their floral skills. They opened their current shop and wholesale business in 1990, but Tom Wolfe, Jr., who runs the business now, is a sixth-generation florist.
“We’re a solid company that our clients can depend on,” Wolfe said. “I have a team of talented designers and we have a huge selection of flowers.”
Wolfe’s is more than just a flower shop, though. They are a flower company that not only creates stunning arrangements for weddings, funerals and events, but they also sell wholesale flowers and supplies to local flower shops. And every bouquet and corsage are of the highest quality.
“We carry extremely fresh flowers,” he said. “All of our flowers are purchased directly from growers, so the quality is always extremely good. And our prices are affordable as well.”
While Wolfe’s can do just about anything when it comes to flowers, their passion is weddings.
"We really want to help couples make their vision come to life,” Wolfe said. “They’re in good hands when they come to see us.”
The florist said to begin the process of booking Wolfe’s for your wedding, brides and grooms need to call the main phone number and they will put you in touch with one of their wedding designers and set up a time for a consultation.
Wolfe wants brides to know that the sooner they call, the better, especially for weddings in spring, early summer or fall. Those are high-demand months, and their schedule fills up quickly.
“We’re seeing brides calling in six to eight months in advance,” he said. “You really can’t call us too early to get your event on the calendar. Booking a wedding last minute in those high-volume months is like trying to get a hotel room in Waco when there’s a Baylor football game.”
