With stunning views of downtown Waco and a menu that can be customized to specific tastes and cultural traditions, the Baylor Club at McLane Stadium is one of the most unique wedding and event venues in the area.
Since it opened its doors in 2014, the private club has been the site of everything from intimate dinner parties to buyout events catering to over a thousand guests. The Baylor Club is a unique venue that offers the full-service treatment when it comes to wedding planning. From helping couples choose vendors to providing catering, the staff at this venue can do it all.
“Providing fine dining really sets us apart,” said Private Event Director, Jessie Reid. “Our chef is amazing. He can create anything and loves a challenge.”
The culinary expert recently created a menu for a high-end event with a Titanic theme. He found the original menu from the maiden voyage and recreated it using ingredients not typical to today’s dining experience.
“We have a banquet menu for those who choose that option, but [the chef] is definitely willing to work outside of that,” Reid said.
Not only does the club have endless menu options, but they also offer other wedding day elements like a staff member to cut the cake, table linens, chargers, extra tables and a dance floor.
“If [couples] are looking for ease in the wedding planning process, we can point them in the right direction,” she said.
The Baylor Club also offers something that no other venue in the area can promise—the chance to walk out onto the field at McLane Stadium.
“With our wedding package brides and grooms get the opportunity to take pictures on the field, which is a unique experience.”
And while inside the venue, they can look out over the Brazos River and enjoy panoramic views of downtown Waco.
“From the food tasting to the fond farewell at the end of the [reception], we take care of the bride and groom and ensure that their wedding day experience is personalized and extraordinary,” Reid said.
The club usually receives heavy inquiries and bookings about a year in advance, so they advise calling sooner rather than later. But, Reid said that because there are seven event spaces on site, they do their best to accommodate last-minute events as well.
