When brides visit the Vintage Oaks Ranch wedding venue, they don’t always know what they’re looking for or where to start planning their big day. But when they meet with co-owners Amber Nichols and Joy Minix, their worries begin to melt away.
“We see so many people come in who are just absolutely lost,” Minix said. “And when they leave that first meeting with us, they leave saying, I feel so much better.”
With friendly smiles and southern hospitality, the owners create an environment that feels more like sitting on the front porch with a pitcher or sweet tea, then undergoing the daunting task of planning a wedding. They are all about giving couples a stress-free experience. Which means helping with the entire process.
“We don’t go as far as helping them pick out their dresses, but we help with the day-of happenings, the vendors, and then we do all of the décor and set up for them,” Nichols said. “We also have all of the tables and chairs on-site, and we do the cleaning up after the wedding so there’s no end-of-the-night struggle.”
When couples book Vintage Oaks Ranch for their nuptials, they also have the chance to look through the venue’s extensive collection of
antique and rustic furniture, décor and supplies.
“We have vintage china, silverware, tables, chairs, and vases,” she said. “We can also execute floral arrangements if needed.”
The mother and daughter team also help to coordinate a bride and groom’s vendors so they don’t have to set up several different meetings for each one.
