Lily and Daniel were a part of each other’s lives long before the two started dating. Daniel first met Lily on a peewee football team where, despite being two grades older than her, he found Lily to be a pretty intimidating player—and according to Lily, Daniel was even a little scared of her!
Fortunately, Daniel’s fears faded; he became close friends with Lily’s older brother, Weldon, and started noticing that he and Lily had a lot in common, like their shared love of fishing. Daniel quickly realized he caught himself a keeper and decided to make it official!
After a love-filled day of spending quality time with family, he popped the question in his kitchen “in true Daniel fashion,” as Lily puts it, keeping it simple and sweet. “I always find out his surprises, so he didn’t try to do anything too wild,” Lily says.
These two sweethearts are tying the knot on November 20, 2021, at Vintage Oaks Ranch in Axtell, Texas!
