Even though Elijah was best friends with Aaliyah’s sister growing up, the future couple never crossed paths. In 2018, Aaliyah and her sister threw a Christmas party and Elijah was a guest. It was at this party that the couple met and hit it off. Soon they began a relationship, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. After four years together, the couple got engaged on Father’s Day after a dinner at one of Aaliyah’s favorite restaurants. The two married on Sept. 24, 2022, in a rustic, fall wedding at the Waco Convention Center.
