Ashley and Andrew were close friends for years before they realized they were meant to be together. After first meeting at the Bell County Youth Fair Livestock Show, they remained good friends throughout college; Ashley would even bring Andrew a homemade lunch on a regular basis, as their schools weren’t far from each other.
Life got busy for both after college, and they lost touch for a few years. Luckily, they happened to run into each other one day and decided to schedule a dinner date. From that point on they knew they had reconnected for a good reason—they were married three years later!
Despite Ashely’s suspicions that the proposal was coming soon due to Andrew’s odd behavior leading up to her birthday, Andrew managed to surprise her just a few days before at a pleasant dinner with her family.
Andrew and Ashley’s special day was themed “Starry Night in the Desert,” with Boho décor and stars and moons scattered throughout. What made this setting even more special and unique was that many of the focal décor pieces were handmade by Ashley!
On October 2nd, Ashley and Andrew tied the knot at Little River Event Center in Cameron, TX. Pat’s Gowns outfitted the adorable flower girls, Celebrations Wedding Planning and Event Rentals provided décor, and the reception enjoyed a cake from Cuppiecakes of Waco.
