Cecy and Matt first met online in 2019—and it didn’t take them long to realize they should meet in person. The two were a perfect match, and before long Matt decided it was time for the next big step.
On a romantic beach trip to Galveston, Cecy was writing her and Matt’s name in the sand when she turned around and found Matt down on one knee. He didn’t give away any hints, so Cecy was totally surprised to see a ring in his hand!
When it came time to start the planning process, Cecy’s first move was to get a planner. Luckily Caitlin with CMDesigns Weddings is bilingual, so Cecy’s family could be involved in the planning process. Next on their list was the photographer. After that, all the other pieces started falling into place with Caitlin’s help.
Purple flowers, purple accents, and purple bridesmaid dresses were chosen based on the bride’s favorite color. For a romantic feel, Cecy decided to decorate with fairy lights, both in the drapery as well as on the table runners.
Escorted down the aisle by her two sons, Cecy married Matt on October 16th at the Carleen Bright Arboretum in Woodway, Texas. The lovely bride was dressed in a Georgio’s gown, and Action Rentals provided décor for the reception. George’s brought a delicious meal to keep everyone fed, and K&S Entertainment had Cecy, Matt, and their loved ones dancing all night.
Congrats Cecy and Matt!
