Rylie and Iain found each other through a popular dating app one year ago and clicked too well not to meet up for dinner. It didn’t take long for Rylie to realize they were meant for each other
Iain knew this too, so he made plans to ask Rylie to be his wife. He took her to a park in Plano, Texas, and invited one of his buddies to capture the big moment on camera. With a breathtaking waterfall as their backdrop, Iain got down on one knee and asked Rylie to marry him.
Rylie and Iain easily planned a rustic wedding with an outdoorsy feel—and since blue is both of their favorite color, the decision of color scheme came easily. Rylie looked to her sister, who had gotten married in Waco the previous year, for advice on vendors. The newlyweds are such fans of the outdoors, they even squeezed in time for some fishing before all the hustle and bustle of the day started.
The rehearsal dinner took place at Diamondback’s, and the ceremony and reception were held at Vintage Oaks Ranch in Axtell, Texas. Rylie, Iain, and their guests enjoyed top-notch catering from George’s Restaurant, a yummy cake from Simply Delicious Bakery, and quality entertainment from Wall of Sound Productions. The soft blue florals were designed by Wolfe Florist, and the whole event was expertly captured by Shelly Taylor Photography.
